Headley have a new vacancy with a Leeds based company who are seeking a skilled designer to produce working drawings for their joinery workshop.
The company is long established and handles a good quality and variety of commercial projects and as business volumes increase, they require additional design support in the team.
The role offers opportunity for a skilled and experienced joinery designer to gain new and develop existing skills in a broad design role.
Key Duties to include:
- Production of technical manufacturing drawings using Solidworks software
- Working in conjunction with client teams to understand brief and offer design led solutions
- Dealing with 3rd parties, suppliers, subcontractors as required to deliver client requirements
- Working with manufacturing to ensure best processes and trouble shooting as required
Required experience:
- Solidworks experience essential
- Experience of technical drawing for joinery production
- Understanding of joinery materials and manufacturing processes
- Confident in dealing with clients and suppliers
- Good attitude to work, reliable and keen to develop in the role
