Key duties to include:
- Working from technical drawings, programme set and operate CNC (turning) machines in production of both bespoke and volume manufactured components
- Selecting appropriate tooling and materials
- Working closely with colleagues and management to ensure proper prioritizing of jobs
- Quality control
- Basic machine maintenance
Key requirements
- Experience in programming setting and operating CNC Lathes
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and information
- Knowledge of different metals and materials
- Apprentice trained or similar
- Comfortable working independently
