They’re based in Castleford and have an excellent reputation and history of producing quality, fast track fit out and new build projects across the sectors for some leading blue-chip clients. Many of these clients are large retailers such as Morrisons, Asda, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer etc…
They are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their M&E team. The position is required to provide extra resource in response to increases in workload over a sustained period. Projects are based towards the commercial retail sector, with the role requiring you to manage a varied portfolio of contracts from initial enquiry through to final accounts. Projects can be anywhere in the UK so you must be flexible to travel.
Essential Requirements to be successful in the role:
- Direct, plan, motivate and monitor the project teams
- Produce scopes of works document from given brief or drawings
- Plan and agree scheme phasing details with the design team
- Continually monitor supplier quotations against rates
- Attend and manage on-site scheme phases
- Attend scheme design team meetings as necessary
- Perform site surveys
- Ensure KPI monitoring is completed weekly
- Ensure Health & Safety is compliant at all times
